LONG AWAITED GROUSE HUNTING POST 2015-

Crazy first two weeks of upland hunting in Maine’s North Woods. Warm temps. and abundant leaves curtailed the traditional high point count but seasoned pointers/setters and persistence payed off. Our guides could show the Grouse and Woodcock were their and left it up to the gunners to bust through the leaf cover. Daily limits are the norm with the Woodcock flights slowly trickling in. Cool temps are just arriving with peak color upon us. Lazy afternoons have been filled with great October fall fly fishing for Northern Maine Brook Trout and well, relaxing and visiting by the fire.
A couple of weeks with wonderful friends, bird dogs in the beautiful North Maine Woods.
