LOTS of incredible Flat Water Maine Fly Fishing

All around Chandler Lake Camps in the North Maine Woods, we are surrounded by more than 40 small lakes and ponds within a 40-mile drive from the Lodge. A tranquil, calm, small lake or pond may not appear as exciting as the next pool in a remote river or stream, but there is just as much life as in moving waters.

Due to the foresight of some really determined people, more restrictive regulations and policies were put in place many years ago. It has been a wonderful success story for us and Northern Maine.

It’s a dream come true. Calm water, long cast, and wild brook trout sipping dries from the surface. For wild Eastern Brook Trout, it’s as good as it gets!

During your time with us on a remote back-country trout pond, we will primarily fish from 20ft canoes for comfort and safety.

Our May and June hatches are active and abundant. The action can be fast and furious, chasing rises, spotting and stalking, casting to rising fish.

Experienced Guides and extensive knowledge in a warm and inviting setting. We look forward to having you join us!
