Maine Landlocked Salmon Fly Fishing at Chandler Lake Camps and Lodge

Landlocked Salmon are a freshwater form of Atlantic Salmon and Fly Fishing for them in Maine is considered by many to be the finest in the east. We Fly Fish for Landlocked Salmon in lakes, rivers, and streams primarily focusing on inlets and outlets at ice-out, during the Rainbow Smelt spawning run in early May and the Fall pre-spawning period.

Primarily walk-wading Fly Fishing is the norm with 5/6 wt rods with floating and sink tip lines.

Swinging streamers is the norm mixed up with egg patterns, emergers, nymphs, and early dries.

Remote waters with little pressure make this a fantastic memory-maker experience with Maine Landlocked Salmon combined with Maine Wild Brook Trout the daily norm.

Plan early as we cater to small private parties and individuals. Specializing in a quality personal experience for the discriminating angler.
