Yesterday brought a dark cloud of sadness over Chandler Lake Camps and Lodge. With broken hearts and many tears, we must share that our beloved Parker has gone over the Rainbow Bridge to be with his sister Sage once again.
With all the Blessings, growth, and changes here at Camp over the past decade, one thing was always for sure… Parker would be greeting you in the driveway when you arrived!
Parker was special. He was large and regal as a Ryman can be. He was loyal and loving and spoiled as all get out! As anyone who has stayed with us knows Parker would eventually show up at your cabin door looking for a treat or even better, an invitation to come in and visit for a while.
This is by far one of the hardest updates we have ever written. A slice of our heaven at Chandler Lake Camps and of ourselves will no longer be here in all his glory but he will carry on in our hearts forever.
“The price of a good gundog is a broken heart at the end.” – Rudyard Kipling
Parker was always so much more than a gundog, Parker was family to all that knew him!
